Clothianidin is a neonicotinoid insecticide, which has systemic, contact and stomach toxic effects. Clothianidin 30%SC is used for the control of rice planthoppers in rice. Clothianidin belongs to the neonicotinoid insecticide class. The pure product is a white crystalline powder with a melting point of 176.8 ℃. It is a broad-spectrum insecticide with high activity, systemic absorption, contact killing, and gastric toxicity. The mechanism of action is to bind to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors located in the posterior process of the nerve. It is suitable for leaf spray and soil treatment. The toxicity test of whitefly indoors and the field efficacy test against tomato whitefly show that it has high activity and good control effect. It exhibits good rapid efficacy and lasts for about 7 days.

Technical requirements for use:

1. This product should be sprayed evenly and thoroughly during the peak incubation period of rice planthopper eggs or the peak emergence period of young nymphs.

2. Do not apply the pesticide on windy days or when rain is expected within one hour.

3. It can be used at most once per season on rice, with a safety interval of 21 days.
