Thiobencarb Application in the Seeding Rice Field
For direct-seeded rice, apply 3-4.5L of 50% Thiobencarb EC per hectare. This application can be made either before sowing or at the 2-3 leaf stage of the rice seedlings.
Thiobencarb is also suitable for other crops:
Seedling Fields: Apply 2.5-6.5 L of 50% EC per hectare using the poison-soil broadcasting method.
Wheat Fields: Apply 4.5L of 50% EC per hectare, and spray on the soil surface before wheat emergence.
Transplanted Rice Fields: Apply 3-3.8 L of 50% EC per hectare, and spray it 3-7 days after rice transplantation.
Thiobencarb Attentions：
1) For optimal efficacy, apply the thiobencarb 50%EC before weeds exceed the 2-leaf stage. Delayed application will reduce the effectiveness.
2) Avoid use it in sandy or leaky paddy fields due to the potential for reduced performance and increased risk of leaching.
3) Application rates should be increased appropriately in soils with high organic matter content.
