Symptoms in treated weeds include wilting and eventual death of young shoots at the four-leaf stage, while older leaves at the two-leaf stage show minimal changes and generally remain green.
Attentions when use the cyhalofop-butyl
1. Cyhalofop-butyl is not recommended for soil application (such as via toxic soil or toxic fertilizer methods).
2. Mixing Cyhalofop-butyl with certain broadleaf herbicides may result in antagonistic effects, leading to reduced efficacy of cycloxydim.
3. Before applying the herbicide, drain the field to expose the weeds. Reintroduce a shallow water layer 24-36 hours after application and maintain it for 5-7 days to enhance weed control efficacy.
4. Cyhalofop-butyl is highly toxic to aquatic arthropods; therefore, it must be prevented from entering aquaculture areas.
