Mechanism of action
Carfentrazone-ethyl inhibits protoporphyrin oxidase, thereby disrupting membrane splitting. When applied as a post-emergence foliar treatment on cereals such as wheat and corn, it blocks the translocation of sensitive broadleaf weeds, causing them to dry up and die rapidly, while being safe for cereals like wheat and corn.
Function characteristics
(1) Can be used for wheat, barley, rice, corn, etc., as its half-life in soil is only a few hours, it is also safe for the next crop;
(2) Fast grass killing speed, less affected by low temperature, and wide opportunities for medication;
(3) It has good resistance to low temperatures and rainwater erosion, and can be used for herbicide application before winter when the temperature drops to a very low level. It can also be used for timely application during rainy seasons in spring when there is frequent rainfall. It is an excellent herbicide for wheat field spring weeding;
(4) The efficacy of zopiclone is related to the lighting conditions. Good lighting conditions after application are beneficial for the full efficacy of the drug, while cloudy days are not conducive to the normal efficacy of the drug. When the temperature is above 10 ℃, the speed of grass killing is fast, and it takes 2-3 days to take effect. During the low temperature period, the speed of grass killing will slow down.

Mainly used for preventing and controlling broad-leaved weeds and sedges such as pigweed, wild sesame, plantain, ramie, flat stem, quinoa, red heart quinoa, empty tube morning glory, weasel petal flower, sour mold leaf polygonum, willow leaf thorn polygonum, rolled stem polygonum, anti branch amaranth, iron amaranth, Baogai vegetable, Qixi vegetable, wild sesame, small fruit flax, ground skin, dragon radish, white mustard and other weeds. It has excellent control effect on weeds such as Zhuyang Yang, Abulan Ma, Hongxin Chenopodium, Shepherd's purse, Zeqi, Maijia Gong, and Hongtong Niu, and has good activity against weeds resistant to sulfonylurea herbicides.
Products Description
(1) Suitable application period: The best application period for weeds is between 2-3 leaves, and application is prohibited after the jointing stage of wheat;
(2) Carfentrazone-ethyl only has a contact killing effect on weeds and does not have a soil sealing effect. During the application period, it should be carried out as much as possible after most of the weeds in the field have sprouted;
(3) After spraying pesticides from the jointing stage to the booting stage, yellow spots may appear on the leaves of wheat, but the normal green color can be restored within one week after spraying without affecting the yield;
(4) Due to the limitation of the action mechanism (no internal absorption activity) of oxazolone oxalate, efforts should be made to make spray comprehensive and uniform, so that all weeds can be fully sprayed. It has no effect on the weeds growing after application, and cannot be used for broad-leaved crops.
