Clomazone 480g/L EC is a selective pre-emergence herbicide absorbed by roots and young shoots. It translocates upward via the transpiration stream to all parts of weeds, inhibiting chlorophyll biosynthesis. Though weeds may germinate and emerge, they lack pigments and die shortly after emergence. It effectively controls annual grasses and broadleaf weeds, such as barnyard grass (Echinochloa crus-galli), green foxtail (Setaria viridis), and crabgrass (Digitaria sanguinalis).

1.For controlling annual weeds in rice transplanting fields: Apply soil mixing method 5-7 days before transplanting. After field irrigation and leveling, maintain a 2-3 cm water layer. Keep water depth for 5 days post-application. Apply per mu mixed with 10-30 kg of soil or urea, spreading uniformly across the field. For soybeans, apply uniform spray post-sowing and pre-emergence, with 20-30 liters of water per mu. Under insufficient soil moisture, irrigate before application. Use only once per season.

2.During transplanting, ensure water does not submerge heart-shaped leaves to avoid phytotoxicity. Arrange subsequent crops reasonably to ensure a safe interval.
