Technical requirements for use
1. For optimal control of leaf spot on apple trees and anthracnose on watermelons, Mancozeb should be applied preventatively or at the early stages of disease development. Depending on disease pressure, apply up to three times at 7- to 10-day intervals. Ensure thorough and even coverage during application.
2. Avoid application during windy conditions or if rainfall is expected within one hour of treatment.
3. The pre-harvest interval (PHI) is 14 days for apples, with a maximum of 3 applications per season. For watermelons, the PHI is 21 days, also with a maximum of 3 applications per season.
Storage and transportation methods
Mancozeb should be stored in a dry, cool, well-ventilated and rainproof place, away from fire sources or heat sources. Keep out of reach of children and unauthorized personnel and lock it up. Do not store or transport together with food, beverages, feed, grains, etc.
