Products Description
Azocyclotin (C20H35N3Sn) is a broad-spectrum acaricide with strong contact killing effect. Azocyclotin can kill nymphs, adults and summer eggs, but Azocyclotin is ineffective against winter eggs. Its residual effect can last for more than 30 days and it has excellent control effects on both sensitive and resistant mites.
The toxic mechanism may be related to the inhibition of the oxidative phosphorylation process in nerve cells. Azocyclotin is suitable for controlling apple full-spined mites, mountain ash leaf mites, citrus full-spined mites, citrus rust mites, two-spotted leaf mites, vermilion leaf mites, and truncated leaf mites on crops such as apples, citrus, grapes, and vegetables.
Azocyclotin has moderate toxicity. The acute oral LD50 for rats is 76-180 mg/kg, and the acute dermal LD50 is 1000 mg/kg. Azocyclotin is highly toxic to fish, moderately toxic to birds, and Azocyclotin has extremely low toxicity to bees.
Application
Azocyclotin is used to control pest mites of citrus, apples, hawthorns, cotton, vegetables and other crops.
